Learning & Development Coordinator (Contract) - Milford

The Learning & Development Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the talent development programs offered throughout the organization. This includes coordination related to preparation, delivery, and evaluation of training programs, identifying and securing resources, and acting as a liaison to departments and other team members. This role will report to the Manager of Learning & Development and support both learning and organizational development initiatives.

Essential Functions
  • Assist with coordination of events and trainings developed and/or hosted by Learning & Development (L&D) or Organization Development team members
  • Assist with updating our learning management system, CCUonline, with our scheduled training sessions, report and track all training needs and completed training activity
  • Support the coordination of programs including room bookings, communication design, pre- and post-course work, calendar invitations, reminders, preparation of course materials and follow up evaluation surveys
  • Serve as the administrator for employee certifications and external training requests by enrolling in programming, submitting applications, and tracking completions and related materials
  • Produce the weekly department newsletter by following established process and ensuring accuracy of information
  • Manage the department email account by responding in a timely manner and forwarding to teammates as appropriate
  • Provide administrative support for the mentoring and onboarding programs
  • Maintain process documents for coordinator tasks
  • Coordinate process and materials for regularly scheduled team meetings
  • Collaborate with colleagues on special projects

Required Experience
  • A self-directed learner who is interested in developing their skills in the Learning & Development and/or Talent Development field
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication skills and impeccable follow through
  • Strong business writing and documentation skills
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and to adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Learning & Development systems and software a plus (i.e. Learning Management Systems, Camtasia, Articulate/Storyline)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a coordinator role or a closely related role
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
