We are actively hiring an Instructional Designer to create, deliver, and oversee immersive training programs that advance employee skills and career development. This remote position will play a key role in fostering a productive learning environment that captures employees’ attention, helps them achieve their goals, and aligns with the needs of clinical research roles.

Monday–Friday, flexible daytime hours
Limited travel may be required up to 10%

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with leaders and subject matter experts to develop relevant, job-specific training curriculum.
• Design interactive, remote-friendly educational resources and tools that support key clinical research roles (e.g., investigators, coordinators, recruiters).
• Build and maintain a current, well-organized library of training materials.
• Apply instructional design principles to create and distribute effective learning materials.
• Assess learner progress and align content with learning objectives.
• Evaluate training content to identify areas of improvement and update materials accordingly.
• Participate in demos and meetings related to new technology tools.
• Provide project tracking insights and help adjust timelines to meet objectives.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support staff, clients, and vendors.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in instructional design, education, or related field; or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of instructional design models, learning theories, and evaluation methods.
• Proficiency in Adobe and Articulate tools.
• Experience developing curriculum, training tools, and multi-level learning paths.
• Familiarity with clinical research systems and processes.
• Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication skills and experience with learning management systems (LMS).
• Comfortable using various file types (.mp3, .mp4, .jpg, .html, etc.).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize competing demands.
• Flexibility, initiative, and an ability to work independently.
