Job Summary

Work involves assisting in planning, organizing, and coaching our recreational & preschool gymnastics program. Some of these classes will be offered to the general public with no previous gymnastics experience required while others require evaluation or progression through lower-level classes. Work is reviewed by a supervisor upon completion and through participation in regular evaluations.

Essential Functions

Coaching recreational & preschool gymnastics.

Assisting in the maintenance and upkeep of all aspects of the gymnastics facility.

Providing feedback and assisting with planning and organizing gymnastics classes and creating lesson plans.

Coaching recreational & preschool gymnastics classes and events.

Assists with documenting information and files regarding recreational & preschool gymnastics activities and programs.

Assists in the disbursement of marketing/advertising programs and materials in order to make the community aware of the various programs and events hosted by the program.

Assists in the smooth administration and operation of recreational gymnastics programs by serving as a coach and ensuring compliance with program and USA Gymnastics rules and regulations if applicable.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The following section provides the minimum qualifications necessary for appointment to this job. Applicants must meet or exceed these qualifications in order to be considered eligible for employment consideration.
1. Drivers License.
2. High school diploma or GED
3. 1+ years of experience coaching gymnastics.


CRITICAL TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
1. 1+ years of previous gymnastics coaching or competitive experience.
2. Knowledge of American Red Cross first aid techniques including Adult CPR.
3. Knowledge of the necessary methods and techniques of planning recreation gymnastics programs and activities.
