Summary: Provides guest service and information to guests and performs cashiering functions at assigned Casino outlets.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assists in all areas of the Guest Services department as needed. (Retail Gift Shops, Coat Check and Uniforms)
  • Welcomes guests and answers questions, providing information to internal and external guests. Directs callers to appropriate personnel or department and assists in locating specific areas of the Casino.
  • Promotes the sale of merchandise, including cigarettes and wine.
  • Processes cash, credit card and payroll deduction transactions.
  • Displays, organizes and stocks store merchandise.
  • Checks in items for guests such as coats, helmets, and packages; loans out wheelchairs.
  • Cleans, organizes, and maintains outlets.
  • Performs opening and closing duties.
  • Prepares and submits daily retail paperwork to the Audit Department.
  • Assists with mail-outs.
  • Assists with quarterly inventory.
  • Assists in Uniforms when needed.

Education, Experience, Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, and one (1) year cashier and guest service experience, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Low security gaming license issued by the Grand Ronde Gaming Commission.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Environmental Factors and Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • Work is performed in warehouse, retail and casino environments, with routine exposure to tobacco smoke and occasional exposure to extreme cold or heat.
  • Work is subject to moderate levels of noise
  • Work is subject to frequent standing, walking, and occasional bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Work is subject to frequent use of hands to finger, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms.

Equipment and Tools Utilized:

  • Equipment utilized includes calculators, cash registers, telephone, computer and standard office equipment, electric motorized carousels.
