Responsibilities Graphic Design Use Perimeter brand standards and Respond to incoming graphics requests

Use Perimeter brand standards and templates to design compelling graphics for both print and digital media including digital signage internal and external communications and reports
Respond to incoming graphics requests from administrative teams
What you need to have

Animate logos and other Perimeter graphics and design elements for use on digital signage website and social media
Design visual explainers and short animations of physics and science concepts
Design infographics visual listicles and posters

The starting hourly rate for this position is between $21.50 and $24.00 per hour based on a 37.5 hour work week and commensurate with candidate experience and education

The Communications and Public Engagement team is busy in the summer supporting the Institute

What you will do: Graphic Design : • Use Perimeter brand standards and templates to design compelling graphics for both print and digital media including digital signage internal and external communications and reports • Respond to incoming graphics requests from administrative teams • Animate logos and other Perimeter graphics and design elements for use on digital signage website and social media Visual Science Communication : • Design infographics visual listicles and posters • Design visual explainers and short animations of physics and science concepts What you need to have : • Enrolled in or graduating from postsecondary education in visual arts graphic design animation or another related field or equivalent experience • Proven competence in graphic design and digital animation • Understanding of and/or courses in storytelling and communication • A creative individual who can bring ideas to life • An interest in physics and science is an asset • Experience or courses in science communication is helpful but not required Please submit your resume and three design samples of your choice by February 6 2026 in order to ensure full consideration of your application
