If this sounds like how you operate, let’s talk. General Manager Summary Seeking an accomplished and driven General Manager to lead our dynamic team. This individual will oversee all aspects of daily operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maintaining strong financial performance. The General Manager will be accountable for both front- and back-of-house execution, P&L management, and cost controls (COGS, labor, and inventory), driving operational excellence across all departments. We’re looking for a hospitality professional who leads by example, thrives in a high-volume, fine-dining environment, and cultivates a culture of integrity, teamwork, and guest-focused service. Key Responsibilities • Provide hands-on leadership across all front and back of house operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with brand standards. • Manage restaurant financial performance, including analysis and control of COGS, labor, and operating expenses to meet or exceed budgeted goals. • Oversee weekly and monthly P&L reviews, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth. • Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering an environment of accountability, professionalism, and hospitality excellence. • Maintain operational compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. • Partner with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless coordination between service and kitchen teams. • Create and manage schedules, ensuring proper coverage and labor efficiency. • Monitor and elevate guest satisfaction through table touches, service recovery, and proactive communication. • Support strategic initiatives including menu rollouts, marketing programs, and seasonal events. • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial reporting, inventory, and POS systems. • Lead by example in embodying the NANDO core values — precision, warmth, teamwork, and pride in craft. Requirements • Minimum 3–5 years of full-service General Manager experience, preferably in an upscale or fine-dining environment. • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience managing COGS, P&L statements, and inventory controls. • Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams across multiple departments. • Exceptional organizational and communication skills. • In-depth understanding of restaurant operations, from kitchen production to floor management. • Passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering refined, memorable guest experiences. • ServSafe and alcohol service certification preferred.
