Full-Time Tax Accountant About the Position Our CPA firm is seeking motivated individuals who thrive in a collaborative office environment and excel in client communication. As an accountant in our firm, you will be responsible for: · Preparing individual and business tax returns · Providing QuickBooks services and financial accounting services · Tax planning for a broad client base · Resolving tax issues at the federal and state levels Our firm works with high-net-worth individuals and closely-held businesses. Candidates must have recent CPA firm experience. CPAs are strongly encouraged to apply. Requirements: · Recent CPA Firm Experience: 4 or more years · Tax and Financial Accounting Experience · Proficiency in QuickBooks: Both Desktop and QuickBooks Online · Software Proficiency: Word, Excel, and Outlook; UltraTax is a plus · Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal · Attributes: Inquisitive nature and enjoys learning Job Responsibilities: · Prepare thorough and accurate federal and state returns (1040, 1041, 1065, 1120/1120S) · Perform tax and accounting research · Prepare tax projections and provide tax planning advice · Prepare financial statements and consult with clients as needed · Review clients' books and records, both live and after-the-fact · Efficiently manage assigned tax and accounting work · Preparation and understanding of Forms 5471, 5472, and FBARs is a plus · Preparation and knowledge of trusts and estates is a plus · Address and resolve IRS/State notices, including communication with the IRS/State and clients Benefits: · Retirement Plan with employer match · Paid time off · Paid holidays and an additional paid day off after the 4/15 deadline · Bonus eligibility · Health, dental, and vision insurance · Firm-sponsored outings and activities · Free parking and convenient office access Ready to Get Started?
