About You In Home Care, a leading in-home care and staffing agency, is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Staffing Coordinator to join our growing team! Our team works closely with caregivers, CNAs, LPNs, RNs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure our clients receive the best possible care.

Position Overview:

As a Staffing Coordinator at About You In Home Care, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients receive the care they need when they need it. You will work closely with our Office Manager and other Staffing Coordinators to maintain a high standard of service and responsiveness. This full-time position is based in our Covington, LA office, with a regular schedule of 8 am-5 pm, Monday through Friday. Additionally, you may need to work remotely on call during occasional weekends and holidays as required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Shift Review and Scheduling: Before each shift, review the schedule with the designated Service Coordinator to anticipate any potential issues and ensure smooth operations. You will be responsible for scheduling caregivers for upcoming shifts, including those on weekends and holidays.

  • Client and Caregiver Communication: Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. You will also be responsible for filling client shifts according to our office scheduling processes and communicating any changes to clients and caregivers efficiently.

  • Backup and Support: Act as the point of contact for any questions or issues that arise regarding clients or caregivers, consulting with backup personnel when necessary. Additionally, you will be expected to communicate any client or caregiver concerns to the owner to ensure that they are addressed promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Previous experience in staffing, scheduling, or a related field is preferred
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including familiarity with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite
