Job Description
Full-time Description IDAHO STATE RETIREMENT | 2024 BEST PLACE TO WORK IN IDAHO WORKPLACEAs a Full Time Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a timely and efficient manner. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality. To excel in this role, you will need to have excellent culinary skills, be able to work independently or as part of a team, and be able to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the highest standards of quality
- Follow recipes accurately and ensure that all meals are prepared to the correct specifications
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders when necessary
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working order
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Work closely with other team members to ensure that all meals are served to customers in a timely manner

- At least 2 years of experience working in a professional kitchen, preferably in Heathcare facilities
- Excellent culinary skills and a passion for cooking

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
