The role of Culinary Manager at Topgolf is a full-time position that demands leadership, creativity, and operational excellence in the culinary department. This role involves supervising a team of culinary professionals to provide best-in-class culinary experiences that align with Topgolf’s core values: Fun, One Team, Excellence, Edgy Spirit, and Caring. The Culinary Manager is responsible for coaching and developing the team, driving associate engagement, and ensuring that all culinary operations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. They will oversee inventory management, product purchasing, and food and labor costs with a firm understanding of cost of goods sold (COGS). In this position, the Culinary Manager will select and develop recipes subject to corporate approval while standardizing production recipes to ensure consistent quality. They will also be tasked with establishing food presentation techniques and maintaining quality standards that enhance the guest experience. The position requires collaboration with upper management, Home Office Leadership, and vendors to maintain smooth operational workflows and to respond to emerging opportunities with actionable plans. Additionally, the Culinary Manager will ensure proper equipment maintenance, oversee kitchen safety and sanitation protocols, and plan and cost menus for special events and chef’s choice offerings. This role is ideal for a culinary professional with at least eight years of experience in culinary management, a proven track record in developing and leading a culinary team, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to stand, walk, and exert mobility for the duration of scheduled shifts and work under high-temperature conditions often present in professional kitchens. Physical fitness is necessary as the role requires lifting items up to 50 pounds and ability to stoop and bend regularly.
