This position is for an experienced maintenance crew member responsible for electrical maintenance and repair of plant equipment at an industrial feed manufacturing facility. Areas of expertise in the operation of associated electrical equipment is emphasized.

Primary goal is to assure safe and efficient production by responding to changing conditions in timely manner. Candidates with 5+ years of experience preferred.

Starting pay range for this position is $29.50-34.00/hr., with potential for higher earnings based on skills, experience and qualifications. Responsibilities Performs electrical maintenance in all Repairs, Replacements, Installations, Alterations, Troubleshooting, Electrical Motors and associated components

Repairs, Replacements, Installations, Alterations, Troubleshooting, Cleaning, and Testing for the following
Electrical Motors and associated components such as Starters, MCC’s and VFD’s
Conduits, Raceways and Fittings
Sensors and Instrumentation

Performs electrical maintenance in all areas of the plant on a scheduled or emergency basis
Distribution equipment such as Panelboards and Switchgear
LED, HID and Incandescent Lighting
Conductors and Terminations

Required Skills & Experience A high school diploma is Proof of 8000 hours or Technical experience, working with sensors

Proof of previous or current enrollment in an Electrical Apprenticeship Program or certification as a general electrician preferred
Proof of 8000 hours or (5) years of experience in a related field
Technical experience, working with sensors and instrumentation
A high school diploma is required

Ability to use simple test equipment such as a DMM and an insulation tester for troubleshooting
Ability to identify hazards and work proactively to mitigate risks
Ability to identify and anticipate electrical component failures
Proof of Arc-Flash PPE training preferred

Experience with Lockout, Tagout, Blockout, (LOTOBO) (Machine Specific)
Experience with industrial vehicles such as Forklifts and Manlifts
