Performs inspections, testing and preventative maintenance of electrical and other equipment. Provides other facility maintenance.Job DutiesProvides maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components, including but not limited to wiring, lighting, nurse call, fire alarm, pneumatic tube, intercom, etc.
Troubleshoots to identify hazards or malfunctions and repairs or replaces damaged parts and equipment. Maintains system integrity by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring, insulated cables, cleaning circuits; ensuring breaker and panel labeling, spare breakers in the "off" position, panels locked.
Performs testing and inspections and maintains records for emergency back-up systems as required by NFPA and The Joint Commission.
