What you'll do
We're looking for a Technical Document Designer to join the ArcBest Technologies team. The Technical Document Designer position creates customer-facing documents, manages content libraries, and tracks customer certifications. The Technical Document Designer will be responsible for ensuring that all customer-facing documents are accurate, engaging, and informative, while also ensuring that our content library is up-to-date and accessible to all team members and customers. Additionally, the Technical Document Designer will leverage proficient graphic design skills to enhance the visual appeal and overall aesthetics of customer-facing documents, creating compelling visuals that effectively communicate information and contribute to a cohesive brand identity. This position will also help with the setup and implementation of customers in support of products offered through ArcBest Technologies and its affiliates. This position's daily responsibilities require strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving as well as time management skills.

As a Technical Document Designer, you will be a member of the ArcBest Technologies Tech R & D team in Fort Smith, AR. Your hours will vary based on scheduling to provide customer coverage during normal business hours including nights, weekends, and travel time.

Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience: 3 years' experience in content development or related field, preferred.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
Additional Requirements: Ability to understand and link related business requirements with corporate strategies and capabilities.
