Are you passionate about finding and nurturing veterinary talent? Do you thrive in a dynamic, mission-driven environment? VIP is looking for a DVM Recruiter to join our team and support our strategic workforce planning and recruitment initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive DVM Recruitment Strategy: Execute and support our doctor recruitment strategy with a focus on sourcing, screening, and onboarding top veterinary talent.
- Lead and Support: Act as a people leader for the Vet Tech Recruiter and support the overall VIP recruitment strategy.
- Sales Mindset: Utilize your strong sales mentality to identify, source, and pre-screen candidates nationwide.
- Talent Acquisition: Implement national strategies to build a diverse and qualified candidate pool.
- Manage Recruitment Processes: Oversee administrative functions such as resume screening, interview scheduling, job posting adjustments, and offer letter creation.
- Build Talent Pipelines: Develop and maintain pipelines for repetitive skill sets, ensuring a steady flow of qualified candidates.
- Campus Recruiting & Events: Manage campus recruiting programs, attend conferences, and participate in recruitment events to build a robust candidate pipeline.
- Continuous Improvement: Maintain a CPI mindset to enhance current policies, procedures, and metrics.
What You Bring:
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Outstanding oral and written communication, with superior writing, grammar, editing, and proofreading abilities.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in people leadership within the recruiting field.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to develop solutions that meet organizational needs.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent attention to detail, time management, and administrative skills.
- Sales Mentality: A highly motivated, persuasive, and collaborative approach to recruitment.
- Diversity Initiatives: Experience driving diversity and inclusive recruitment initiatives is preferred.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
- Team Player: A proven team player with a record of independent thinking within a collaborative environment.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in a proactive recruitment partnership role.
- Veterinary industry experience is required.
- Experience in outreach sourcing required.
- Preferred experience in hiring master’s degree and/or doctorate candidates.
- Knowledge of ATS or other applicant tracking systems.
- Willingness to travel 30-40%
Salary: $70,000-$80,000 annually, to commensurate with experience.
