A well-established and reputable employer is urgently hiring 3rd Year 4th Year Heavy Truck Technician apprentices and Licensed 310T Heavy Truck Technicians to join their growing team near Vars ON. Mechanics will play a crucial role in conducting inspections services and repairs on a variety of Heavy-Duty Trucks and Trailers.ResponsibilitiesDaily responsibilities include but are not limited to maintenance inspection diagnosis and repair of suspension brake and air systems on Tractors and Trailers. Mechanics will review and assist with repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports complete documents related to the maintenance reports and documentation and perform maintenance-related work as required while maintaining a clean safe work area. Requirements3rd Year & 4th year apprentices in the Truck & Coach TechnicianValid 310T Truck and Coach Technician Licensed MechanicsExperience working on Commercial Trucks Self-motivated and able to work independently Able to demonstrate you are organized responsible independent resourceful and dynamic A valid drivers license is required Knowledge of provincial InspectionsReefer Experience is a plus but not requiredMust possess own set of basic tools Shift Schedule Days800 AM – 500 PM Monday - Friday or 200PM - 1000PMCompensationLicensed 310T $45.00 for Newly Licensed and up to $48 for experienced licensed 310T mechanics 3rd Year & 4th Year apprentices $38 - $43Comprehensive benefits are offered including Medical Dental Vision from day 12 weeks vacation immediatelyAnnual Boot AllowanceUniforms ProvidedCompany Provided Lunches on FridaysTool Financing for Mechanics at 0% available by company If you feel this description matches your skill set please dont hesitate to apply!
