Director of Human Resources
Position Summary:
The Director of Human Resources role is the first point of contact for all HR processes and is accountable for partnering with the leadership team to drive recruitment, development, motivation, and retention of the North Texas associates. As the HR leader for the business, you will collaborate with HR network and support global growth strategy. The Director of Human Resources will support our team selling approach for our product distribution, Custom Solutions, hose manufacturing, and engineering services activities. This position requires superior communication and motivational skills, strong business acumen, desire to lead change initiatives, and ability to maintain and handle confidential information.
Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:
• Active member of the Leadership Team with responsibility to determine quarterly HR initiatives within our annual business plan.
• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our overall business goals. This includes supporting the commercial strategy as well as overseeing the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding
• Respond to general HR inquiries from all associates.
• Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent, manage onboarding processes, and ensure programs are in place for effective performance management and employee development.
• Collaborate with all associates to drive a positive and healthy culture. Consistently understands the pulse of the associates and culture.
• Responsible for creating Total Rewards compensation model. Monitor industry and regional compensation and benefits trends.
• Compiles and completes payroll processing bi-weekly.
• Manage associate and organization benefits packages.
• Collaborate with your Distributor HR peers to develop and drive new HR initiatives.
• Lead our participation in and develop communication plans for local charity and community events.
• Ensure our HR systems comply with legal requirements.
• Lead change management processes in support of our local commercial growth strategy.
• Periodic review and updating of our associate handbook and company policies.
• Manage relationships with 3rd-party payroll and benefits providers, employment legal counsel, and recruitment firms
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a business or human resources discipline (post graduate degree preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in various Human Resources roles and a proven track record of working with managers to develop associates and build strong teams
• Knowledge of all local employment laws and regulations
• Experience in an industrial sales or manufacturing organization (preferred)
• Ability to think strategically and help other departments execute their initiatives
• High level of energy and enthusiasm for communicating and motivating the team
• Ability to learn the product offering and understand the customer industries and applications we serve
• Experience with managing the full employee life cycle, including Total Rewards compensation and associate performance management and development system
• Superior organization skills, excellent time management skills, and commitment to deadlines
• Emotional self-awareness, ability to reflect on actions, and self-confidence to drive initiatives
• Ability to influence peers to commitment and courage to stand up for what is right

• Compensation Structure: Salary plus bonus commensurate with experience
