About Us:Avon Health Center, family owned since 1974, provides a range of services, including skilled nursing care, post-acute medical and rehabilitation care, hospice and respite care. We are a 120 bed facility, 90 of which are Long Term and 30 Short Term.

Seeking FULL TIME COOK SUPERVISOR (32 hours)
Includes every other weekend and every other holiday
12 pm - 8 pm shift
$20-23/hr DOE
Job Details:
The successful candidates must be able to perform the day-to-day activities of the Food Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards to assure our facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner. Ideally you should be able to work in a fast paced environment, be very detail oriented and work well under pressure. 32 hours per week including every other weekend, 12 pm - 8 pm shift
$20-$23 /hour DOE
The ideal candidate must be able to:
* Must be familiar with altered texture diets
* Deal tactfully with residents, family members, staff and government personnel.
* May be required to stand for long periods of time
* Lift, push, pull and move equipment and supplies without restrictions.
* ServSafe is a plus!
* 1-2 years of cooking experience including scratch cooking and experience with purees
* Communicate Well
* Work independently and as a team
