The System Offices is one of several system members within the Texas A&M University System representing one of the largest systems of higher education in the nation, with a network of 11 universities, a comprehensive health science center, eight state agencies, and the RELLIS Campus. Salary:

$3,750.00 - $4,350.00 per month commensurate with experience.

Job Description Summary:

This position is located in College Station, TX and is not eligible for remote work arrangement.

The IT Contracts Specialist, under general supervision, provides support and coordination of a variety of business activities requiring independent judgment, including reviewing business documents and assisting in developing, monitoring, and reporting accounts and budget data related to IT Contracts as directed by supervisor. Monitors the overall contract review process and associated workflow of OIT and System contracts in accordance with state statutes and established Texas A&M University System (TAMUS) guidelines and protocols.


Responsibilities:
- Coordinates IT contracts inventory process and maintenance of business files.
- Maintains contractual records and documentation, such as receipts and controls of contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports, and other documents. Specifically assists with development of the contract management database for reporting and tracking start/end dates, renewals, terminations, contract compliance issues, and contract termination completions.
- Reviews terms of each contract and coordinates further reviews as necessary.
- Monitors the overall contract review process and associated workflow related to the review of business and service contracts.
- Reviews requisitions and invoices related to IT contracts. Monitors and reports on unit budget activity. Provides input to policies and interprets policies and procedures.
- Maintains current information on the website, policy and procedures manual, TAMUSs guidelines, and publications.
- Other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years of business experience.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Must be able to demonstrate excellent organizational, customer service, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

- Proofreading skills and the ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.

- Ability to handle confidential/time sensitive matters.

- Must be able to maintain consistent and efficient workflow.

- Ability to record, reconcile and analyze financial information.

- Occasional travel and work outside scheduled hours.

- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
