Responsible for the fulfillment of post award contract administration functions for complex procurement actions.


Technical (Preferred/Required Skills/Systems):
MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS - RequiredORACLE IPROCUREMENT SYSTEM - Preferred

Job Qualifications
Five years of contracting/procurement experience in goods not for resale and/or revenue generating services.

Or

Bachelors degree with at least 24 semester hours of business/related courses preferred and three years of contracting/procurement experience in goods not for resale and/or revenue generating services.

Associate must obtain contracting officer authority certification within 12 months of selection.

Major Duties
Manages post award contract administration to include administering of contracts, planning and monitoring vendor performance throughout the contract post award life cycle. Executes tactical sourcing activities for non-resale indirect spend and revenue generating goods and services.
Collaborates with various business units and category managers via day to day interaction to provide feedback and consult with the same regarding supplier and innovation value initiatives.
Assists and guides lower graded contracting associates in their duties, develops their skills, knowledge and abilities. Assigns contracting tasks and actions, evaluates performance.
Coordinates work of various business units, acts as business advisor to internal customers, manages supplier relationship via day to day vendor interactions supporting and participating in supplier relationship management program to fulfill current/future contract needs.
