Our Client is a well-established Non-Profit healthcare organization based in Miami Dade county that offers its employees the support and understanding you would expect from top-rated management.

The Company: Our Client is a large behavioral health organization that provides quality patient care for adults who are experiencing an acute mental, emotional, or substance use crisis. They are known for the great care they take with patients and employees alike.

The Position: Our client is seeking a dedicated Screening Coordinator who would provide vital support for housing stability by handling calls, conducting interviews, and assessing rental assistance eligibility under ERAP supervision for a 1099 contract position, starting immediately, and ending September 30, 2024. This role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.

  • Starting Salary of $30.00 Per Hour

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred), with Preferred Previous Experience in Customer Service, Call Center Operations, or Social Services
  • Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal and Written, to Convey Information Clearly and Effectively
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills, Enabling Engagement with Individuals from Diverse Backgrounds with Empathy and Respect
  • Ability to Work Efficiently in a Fast-Paced Environment, Meeting Deadlines Consistently
  • Proficient in English; Spanish Preferred; Other Languages (e.g., Creole) a Plus
  • Attention to Detail: Thoroughness and Conscientiousness in Task Execution
  • Punctuality in Attendance and Adherence to Schedules, with Consistent Follow-up on Decisions and Commitments
  • Must Pass a Toxicology Test, Level 2 Background Screening, and OIG Check
  • Valid FL Driver’s License With a Clean Record; Authorized to Work in The U.S. Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm With Flexible Start and End Times
  • Office-Based Work, Adhering to Confidentiality Guidelines and Non-Remote. Typically, Standard Hours, Occasionally Flexible
  • Upholding Values and Mission
  • Respond to Incoming Calls and Conduct Screening Interviews to Gather Relevant Information
  • Collecting Caller Details, Assessing Eligibility
  • Provide Courteous Assistance to Individuals Seeking Rental Assistance while Maintaining Professionalism and Confidentiality
  • Offering Program and Community Support, Collaborating for Follow-up
  • The Work Is Primarily Conducted in a Call Center Environment, Utilizing Telephone Systems, Computers, and Office Software
  • Must Be Able to Handle a High Volume of Incoming Calls While Maintaining Professionalism and Quality of Service
