About this role

Our client, a high-growth, national solar company specializing in community solar projects, is looking to bring on a Sales Manager to lead a new market across the Chicago area. This hire will be key members of the company's sales division and will play a pivotal role in its continued and rapid growth.

This Sales Manager role is a full-time, permanent position with our client. Our client, a high-growth, national solar company specializing in community solar projects, is looking to bring on a Sales Manager to lead a new market across the Chicago area.

This hire will be key members of the company's sales division and will play a pivotal role in its continued and rapid growth. This Sales Manager role is a full-time, permanent position with our client.

Responsibilities

  • Developing your team - Conducting in-office and field training as well as providing leadership development opportunities team members to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and leadership abilities
  • Conducting consultations - Travelling across the service area to meet with owners and small business and conducting consultative meetings regarding solar programs and services
  • Engaging with the community - Educating customers on the
  • of community solar programs
  • Driving performance - Setting clear goals, monitoring and analyzing sales metrics, and holding your team accountable to performance KPIs in order to ensure consistent growth in across the market
  • Maintaining vendor relationships - Overseeing sales vendors in the region and providing support as needed
  • Leading from the front - Recruiting, training, and leading and team of field sales representatives
  • Successful Candidates Must Have
