We are looking for a Part-Time (50% FT/ 20 hrs/wk) Communication Specialist to join the UTHealth School of Public Health. In this position, you will assist with promoting the accomplishments and activities of the faculty, students, continuing education, and outreach teams through digital media, including newsletters, websites, and social media platforms. You will also design and implement marketing and promotional campaigns for the Southwest Center for Occupational and Environmental Health events. This position will support the SWCOEH, a NIOSH-funded Education and Research Center, in its mission to improve workers and communities health, safety, and well-being. This position has the option of being fully remote or hybrid based on the preference of the selected candidate.

Position Summary:
Provides a broad range of communications support to departmental and research center programs including writing and editing, project planning, and information dissemination activities. This is a half-time position, with benefits, either in-person or fully remote. Occasional in-person meetings and events required.
