Full-time DescriptionThis is a game CHANGING opportunity for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) interested in working at the VA Medical Center Memphis in Memphis, TN. We are searching for qualified candidates to work in various units at our 200+ bed facility! The VA Memphis Healthcare System is one of the leading health care systems serving Veterans in the VA Mid-South Health Care Network. Our health care services are available to more than 196,000 Veterans in a 53-county area of western Tennessee, northern Mississippi, and northwestern Arkansas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic life support and patient care to individuals in various healthcare settings.
- Utilize EMR and EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and patient information management.
- Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology and physiology in delivering quality care.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Assist with catheter care and other medical procedures as required.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:
· Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program
· Current CNA Certification
· Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
· 1 or more years of full-time experience as a CNA
