Aramark is currently looking for a dedicated Chef Manager to join their dynamic team. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals who are passionate about both food and customer service excellence. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Chef Manager plays a critical role in overseeing kitchen operations, team development, menu planning, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards. This role requires a hands-on leader who not only brings culinary expertise but also strong management and organizational skills to facilitate smooth kitchen functioning and excellent customer experiences.
The Chef Manager is responsible for training and supervising kitchen personnel, coordinating culinary activities, estimating food consumption, purchasing food supplies, selecting and developing recipes, and standardizing production methods to maintain exceptional quality and consistency. Additionally, the role includes establishing presentation techniques and quality standards, pricing menus strategically, and managing special catering events. Maintenance of kitchen equipment and ensuring operational safety and sanitation are also vital responsibilities within this position.
