**Overview:** Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics to join our team in Selma, AL. As a leader in the tire and automotive repair service field, we offer competitive pay, excellent benefits, and opportunities for career growth. **Responsibilities:** • Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles • Perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks • Complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires • Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and high standards of quality • *Qualifications:** • At least 18 years of age • Legally authorized to work in the United States • 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position • Extensive tool box of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs • State inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) preferred • *Benefits:** • Competitive weekly pay, including weekly incentive compensation • Good working environment • Excellent combination of additional benefits, including: + Health, dental, and vision insurance + 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match + Paid vacations + Paid time off + Paid holidays + Life insurance + On-the-job training + Opportunities for career growth and advancementMin Qualification
