Overview Arctic Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced, dedicated and motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. As an experienced Apprentice Electrician, you will be instrumental in enhancing energy efficiency in homes across Nova Scotia by installing and replacing thermostats, heat pumps, and other energy conservation hardware. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: • A safety-first mind-set and approach. • Install and replace thermostats, heat pumps, and other energy conservation hardware in residential homes. • Complete necessary paperwork at the homeowner’s location and additional data collection paperwork after installations. • Provide clients with an educational overview of the installed products. • Ensure participants understand how to operate, program, and troubleshoot their new devices. • Ensure clients’ homes are clean and tidy before completing each job. Requirements: • 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Electrician. • Experience in residential electrical installation and maintenance. • Strong communication and customer service skills. • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. • Willingness to travel within the Truro, Amherst, and Pictou areas. • Driven to provide excellent and professional customer service. • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges. • Focus on following safety procedures and guidelines to minimize risks of hazards and accidents, including proper handling of tools and equipment.
