Job Description:
The Aerospace AI Software Engineer/Lead should be well versed with modern software development techniques and processes and have a demonstrated understanding of generative AI and machine learning, including training methods and frameworks, to build and optimize AI models for specific applications.
Need To Haves:
• 5+ years of experience with modern C++ and Python using an agile methodology
• Demonstrated experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other AI development tools or frameworks
• Demonstrated experience with agentic and generative AI, LLMs, LoRAs, RAG, etc.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• A Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent / relevant degree from an accredited college or university
• Experience in the aerospace (emphasis on space) industry
• U.S. Citizen (or Permanent Resident) is required due to the nature of the work
Nice To Haves:
• Experience with complex software systems including automated testing frameworks and flight software frameworks
• A Master (or higher) of Computer Science or equivalent / relevant degree from an accredited college or university
This position can be performed from our Houston, TX or Boulder, CO locations. This is not a remote position, but the work environment is flexible.
Compensation is commensurate with education and experience with an expected annual salary range between $100,000 and $200,000 with potential for additional incentives and benefits.
