Job Description
An Advisory Intern at Calvetti Ferguson is responsible for the development and execution of various projects such as mergers and acquisitions, quality of earnings, business valuation, litigation support, and corporate consulting. You will do all this, plus more, from day one.
Calvetti Ferguson’s Advisory department consists of a team of individuals working towards the common goal of helping clients. As a member of that team, you celebrate the successes of others and accept your own success as part of the process, not as the end result. To thrive in this role, you are able to learn how to break out of rigid role expectations, get comfortable with discomfort, and accept the uncertainty of undertaking a journey without a map.
The goal of this internship is to provide you with challenging projects, all of which are learning opportunities. We are here to help you start your career in accounting with proper training, resources, and guidance along the way.
The internship is 10 weeks and full-time. It typically starts after Memorial Day and lasts until early August.
Requirements:
- Must be well-rounded in business theory and technical business skills
- Candidates who have a 3.5 GPA and a Bachelor’s or Master’s in accounting, business, finance, or economics will be considered. However, other majors will be considered but must possess business theory and technical business skills
- Pursuing CPA eligibility in Texas is preferred
