Job Description
Accountant (Part Qualified) Monaghan £40-50k (DOE) Reactive Recruitment are partnering with a well-established Agri-feed manufacturing business in Monaghan, currently seeking a Part Qualified Accountant to join their finance team Role You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial information, supporting cost control initiatives and contributing to continuous improvement across production, logistics and procurement. Responsibilities • Assist with monthly management accounts, journals, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis • Support budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting • Maintain and analyse product costing, BOMs and manufacturing variances • Assist with stock takes, inventory reconciliations and valuation • Support AP, AR, bank reconciliations and cashflow activities • Assist with VAT returns, audits and financial controls • Provide financial insight to production, commercial and procurement teams, including margin and pricing analysis Education & Experience • Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant • 1-3 years’ relevant accounting experience (industry or practice) • Strong excel and accounting software • Manufacturing, Agri-food or FMCG experience desirable Benefits • 30 Day Annual Leave • On-the-job training and mentoring from an experienced Financial Controller • Exposure to manufacturing and cost accounting If you would like more information, hit apply now.
