Job Description
We’re looking for multiple mid–senior level Software Engineers (SE2 & SE3) to support a federal modernization effort, converting a suite of 5 legacy ASP.NET/Classic applications to modern .NET Core services running in AWS. These roles are client-facing and require individuals who can work independently and communicate clearly with stakeholders. Location • Must be local to Suitland, MD • All candidates must live within ~1 hour commuting distance Clearance / Eligibility • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance What You’ll Do • Modernize existing ASP.NET/Classic applications to .NET Core • Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core applications in an AWS environment • Collaborate directly with business and technical stakeholders in a client-facing role • Work relatively independently while adhering to project standards and timelines • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities Mandatory Skills (All Roles) • Hands-on experience with ASP.NET • Strong experience with .NET Core • Ability to work with minimal supervision and interact directly with end clients Additional Requirements (at least one SE3 role) • Experience developing and deploying .NET Core applications in AWS Job Disclaimer: Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
