THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL
SciensBuilding SolutionsisseekingaService Sales Representativefor our fire safety& securitybusiness.TheSales Representative's focus will be on newopportunities viaend-user customers and expanding services to existing customerswhilemanagingand growingthe business throughthe selling of new service contractswithin the assigned territory.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING AND DOING WELL
• Sellsservice and maintenance contracts,and other related services. Achieves orders/booking and gross margin goals.
• Achieves assgined annual booking quota as determined and agreed upon between the Sales Manager and the employee.
• Createsnew market share by selling a broad range of services to new customers.
• Demonstrates strong prospecting skills and the ability to build customer relationships through consultative selling and promoting customer confidence inSciens.Searchesfor and qualifiesopportunities on an ongoing basis; followsup with prospects in a timely manner.
• Conductspostcontract acceptancefollowup by contacting customers, ensuring commitments were met, and affirmingcustomer satisfaction once the customer haspurchased aservice agreement.
• Performs needs assessments, develops sales proposals, estimates,and presentations.Provides accurate forecast of activity and potential sales.
• Maintainsan in-depth knowledge of complete line of products/services andcustomers'requirementsthrough in-house training,networking,and research.
• Utilizesapproved marketing materials to present sales presentationsand proposalsto prospects, assuring the customer understands our value proposition, positive features,and advantages of our products and services over those of the competition.
• Independently establishes call plans and customer followup strategies and tactics; consistently applies time and territory management techniques.
• Works withsystems sales,operations, finance, legal, and other inside and outside resources as needed to obtain sales.
• Developsand executestacticalsales strategies,including endusers,developers,and property managers.
• Prepares sales promotion campaigns for customers to promote service offerings to commercial markets.

• Effective communication skillsand abilityto present beforebroadaudiences.
• Strong negotiation skills and competitive spirit.
• Bachelor's degree preferred. Candidates with a combination of education and experience will also be considered.
• Able to travel by air and/or ground overnight, as necessary.
