Cental is recruiting qualified Electricians and 2nd, 3rd & 4th year Apprentice Electricians to join our Panel Shop team in Carlow.
This role involves electrical panel assembly and wiring in a controlled workshop environment, working as part of a skilled and experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
• Electrical wiring and assembly of control panels and switchgear
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
• Panel build, testing, fault finding, and modifications
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in line with safety requirements
• Working collaboratively with supervisors and other trades on the shop floor
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
For Qualified Electricians
• Fully qualified electrician (Irish or recognised equivalent)
• Experience working in a panel shop or similar environment
• Strong understanding of electrical drawings and control systems
• Good attention to detail and quality workmanship
For Apprentice Electricians
• Currently a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year apprentice
• Some panel wiring / panel shop experience highly desirable
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
• Strong work ethic and reliability
