Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Event Manager to oversee the lead generation program at various events and retail partners. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project and people management, ensuring that all aspects of the lead generation team run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires exceptional sales, training, organizational, and leadership skills as well as a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
• Achieve personal and departmental goals for lead generation metrics.
• Adhere to company scripting and methodology for lead generation and appointment setting to assure alignment and positive customer experience.
• Develop and implement event marketing strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Research events and venues within the territory to build a pipeline of opportunities.
• Strategically build team and event calendar to ensure alignment with company goals.
• Negotiate booth placement and pricing within events and retail locations.
• Oversee all logistics to include staff scheduling, setup and tear down, goal setting, and post-event analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, call center, marketing) to ensure event objectives are met.
• Hire, train, and performance manage team of representatives whose goal is to drive qualified leads into the sales funnel.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and bonuses for retail and event team members.
• Measure and analyze performance of all field marketing activities and team members.
• Provide coaching, instruction, and hold team accountable for improvement of team when off-track
• Provide regular reports to senior management on effectiveness of marketing efforts and key performance indicators.
• Manage territory’s event budget, ensuring cost effectiveness of events programming and staffing.
• Ensure all event content aligns with the brand's voice, tone, and strategic direction.
• Manage retail partner expectations and work with retail team to achieve store-level lead generation metrics
• Adhere to company and retail partner training and performance review guidelines
• Guide and conduct business reviews with retail partner store and district leadership
Qualifications
• Proven experience in event marketing management or related fields such as sales, lead generation, or field marketing.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients, vendors, retail partners and team members.
• Excellent contract negotiation skills.
• Experience with growing and training a team of highly skilled sales minded individuals.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
• Experience in residential remodeling industry a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
