Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. Job Summary To repair and maintain electrical systems, motor control centers, panel boards, and other electrical and mechanical equipment. Must be capable of assisting with other engineering trades such as mechanical and maintenance technicians. Accountabilities • Tests and maintains the emergency generators and emergency power systems on a weekly basis and documents all test results. 20% • Repairs and maintains fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.15% • Performs scheduled tests to comply with JCAHO, DHEC, and other standards. Attends training to achieve 90% attendance as required by JCAHO. 15% • Performs preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and records appropriately. Detects repairs necessary, implements repair request and recommends PM frequency changes, additions, deletions to PM schedule.15% • Repairs nurse call systems, surgical lights, automatic door controls, and food service equipment.15% • Mounts motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and completed circuits according to diagram specifications.10% • Maintains, installs, replaces, and tests electrical circuits, equipment and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments. 10% Supervisory/Management Responsibility N/A Minimum Requirements High School diploma or equivalent 5 years of electrical experience In Lieu Of In Lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above, …..
