Job Summary • **This is a short-term project potentially 3+weeks*** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. in Ruskin, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both commercial and residential electrical work, with the ability to read blueprints and perform high and low voltage installations. This role requires a hands-on approach, as you will be working on various construction sites, ensuring that all electrical systems are installed, maintained, and repaired according to industry standards. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems. • Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. • Work with high voltage systems while adhering to safety protocols. • Perform low voltage installations as required for various projects. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs. • Provide maintenance person services as needed, including frame carpentry and general construction tasks. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician or similar role in the electrical field. • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and practices. • Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. • Experience working with high voltage installations is preferred. • Familiarity with low voltage systems is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
