Cost Accountant – Leading Medical Device Manufacturer (Co. Limerick) Join a multi-award-winning team at the forefront of precision engineering and medical device innovation.A recognised leader in high-tech, high-growth medical device manufacturing, partners with some of the largest multinational clients in the orthopaedic implant sector. Our client are expanding their advanced manufacturing facility and R&D, and are now seeking a Cost Accountant to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team. This role is fully onsite and suited to Part-Qualified/ Qualified Accountants with Cost Accounting experience within the manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities • Develop and report on KPIs to drive cost efficiency and operational improvements • Lead monthly operational reporting and variance analysis • Calculate standard product costs and prepare related journal entries • Conduct margin variance analysis and investigate significant variances • Act as finance lead on process improvement projects • Partner with cross-functional teams to support business decisions • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and management accounts • Support internal and external audit processes What We’re Looking For • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or currently pursuing qualification • 2–3 years’ experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Self-motivated with a proactive approach Why Join Us? • Be part of a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture • Enjoy clear career development opportunities • Contribute to a company that values innovation, teamwork, and excellence If you are interested in this role – please apply with your most recent CV to Ciara Lawler for immediate consideration.Applying Instructions
