Temple Recruitment is looking for HGV Mechanics for one of our clients in Navan.
HGV MECHANIC
Duties and Responsibilities
• Overhaul of transmission, axle and driveline products
• Maintain, repair and service of HGV PSV & O/H Vehicles
• Chassis diagnostics and repair both in house and off-site
• Ability to work to OEM standard guide times
• To adhere to correct working procedures
• To complete all job related paperwork in line with company procedures
• To participate in training and development programmes as required by the company
• To undertake any other duties or activities as required
• Role Requirements
Must have completed recognised Mechanical apprenticeship, post apprenticeship experience an advantage but not essential
• Computer literate
• Experience in electrics and computer based diagnostics work is very preferential
• Full clean driving licence
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work without supervision, using your own initiative or within a team and ability to work accurately and efficiently under challenging time constraints
• Reliable
• Ability to travel to sites throughout the country including Northern Ireland
• Previous experience on HGV, PSV & O/H chassis a distinct advantage
• HGV/PSV licence an advantage
