Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst Location: Ann Arbor, MI, US Salary: USD $102,000 - 112,000 / yr. Job description: The Senior Financial Analyst will drive budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, business metric analysis, board and investor reporting as well as other core FP&A activities such as cash flow and CAPEX management. Develops, analyzes, and produces financial information and ensures that procedures are in place and followed to provide for accurate financial reporting of standard costs, inventory valuation, monthly statements, and potential financial forecasts. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Utilizing solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders. • Responsible for delivering weekly/monthly financial close, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and consolidations utilizing financial systems and advanced excel functions. • Create effective business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance during unexpected events. • Drive Annual Budgeting Process and regular re-forecasting processes. • Build and refine multi-period financial models. • Analyze monthly, quarterly, annual, and longer-term results/plans for business leaders, investors, board meetings and the like. • Continuously improve company financial and business operations by identifying improvement projects that will enhance internal and external reporting and forecasting. • Enable business growth and profitability by supporting FP&A through data-driven analysis and recommendations. • Performs other duties as assigned.
