Join Fast Home Services as a Water Heater Installation Technician, working hands-on with gas, electric, and tankless systems while delivering top-tier service to our customers. Our technicians are known for their high standards of workmanship, professionalism, and commitment to outstanding customer service. This role services customers throughout the Salem and Greater Portland areas. The position is full-time, five days per week, with weekend coverage on a rotating basis. First-year technicians earn an average of $80,000 annually, with no cap on earning potential. Compensation & Training: • Training wage: $22-$24 per hour (DOE) - $24 to $26 if you have a current WHI license • Bonus eligibility after completion of training • Training will take place at our south Portland location near Salem, OR WE ARE LOOKING FOR: • 1.5+ years of experience (or apprenticeship) in the areas of residential or commercial Plumbing or general Appliance/Maintenance repair experience that included plumbing duties; military-experienced candidates are encouraged to apply • WHI [Water Heater Installer] License a BIG PLUS • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (Ability to read, write, and speak clearly) • Open to working every other weekend [Rotation basis - you would have a 5 day work week] • Able to work independently • Ability to accurately document repairs and completed work in ServiceTitan, including required documentation, photos, and customer payment processing. • Willingness to train, learn, and keep up to date on the Plumbing Business - You must attend Technician meeting at our Troutdale, OR warehouse 2 times a month • Valid Oregon Driver's License and clean driving record [Must be at least 25 yrs, driving 2 years + insurable record] • GED or High School Diploma mandatory BENEFITS WE OFFER: We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, a 401K program, 6 paid holidays, and paid time off. After training, we provide a company truck, gas card, uniforms, and a phone. TRAINING will be in our south-end Portland area close to SALEM, OR -- We will COMPENSATE for the extra driving during TRAINING. Our SERVICE area is all over Portland, Salem, Vancouver WA, and surrounding areas. . Candidates should also have a safe place to park our company truck during off-hours. Will perform background checks and drug screening with an offer of employment.
