I have to say, I’ve mostly enjoyed this season, but this episode was rough. All of the Covid parody (satire?) stuff didn’t really land for me. It was almost like someone had an AI make Covid related jokes, they were just devoid of any insight or commentary.
The Hermes side story felt a lot better, I really wish the episode was entirely that and had none of the Professor’s antics, which is not a sentence I’d ever thought I’d type regarding Futurama.
I thought it was okay and some of the jokes were funny. I did like that basically people would rather accept voodoo instead of vaccines when it practically is a vaccine.
I also liked the joke where it took them hundreds of years to finally declare the covid 19 pandemic over.
But I really would rather not have a covid centric episode. It took me out of the show. Last thing you want right now is to be reminded of covid. And while covid is still happening, the jokes also felt dated in a way.

I knew there was a pandemic-themed episode coming up this season, and I also knew that I did not want to watch it.
Thanks for letting me know it's this one!
I get that all the covid jokes were old recycled goofs, but I still laughed at the giant q-tips and the vaccines full of tracking chips.
